The leadership of National Youth Council of Nigeria in it’s Easter message beckons on Nigerians to make more sacrifice for the continued existence of mankind.
Olugbode Damola the National PRO in his statement while extending the best wishes of the Youth Council to Nigerian states the celebration calls for sober reflection following the global outbreak of Coronavirus, request Nigerains are more prayerful.
“Easter is the commemoration of the sacrifice that our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, made for the forgiveness of our sins. Occurrence around the world requires we are more prayerful to God to heal our land of the pandemic, while we make more sacrifice for the sake of humanity.”
Olugbode further urged Nigeria Youth to celebrate Easter indoor following the lockdown directives and restriction on movement, also avoid large gatherings or any other grouping that goes against the social distancing rules in the celebration of this year’s Easter.
The statement also commends the patriotism of health workers and security agencies for their efforts”, as the country combats the spread of COVID-19.
